Product Sourcing Assistant

Responsibilities:

As a Product Sourcing Assistant, you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:

  • Check in shipments assuring accuracy and quality
  • Inventory tagging and counting
  • Maintained accuracy of purchase order data: including items, quantities, due dates, special instructions and terms and conditions and receipt dates
  • Assist in development sample labeling and organizing
  • Maintain sample reference library and swatch library
  • Assemble of outgoing development packages
  • Assist with product testing, including sample set up, wash testing and labeling
  • Cost analysis to review improvement opportunities
  • Vendor management learning how to manage relationships with vendors
  • Maintain our vendor list

Your experience:

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require;

  • 0-2 years of experience with Global, Domestic Sourcing or Product development, College Grads welcome to apply
  • Experience in Fashion, textiles, special events or theatre product sourcing a plus
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong ability to build relationships with co-workers
  • High level of accountability and reliability
  • Experience in Quick Books is a plus, but not required
