How it Works
AV-Drop has been specifically designed to be 100% tool-less. This allows for quick & easy installation and strike, and a measurable cost savings for labor. Even an inexperienced team can easily assemble this product, versus the difficulty of traditional hard wall flats.
The build process begins by assembling click-together modular aluminum frames. These frames are offered in varying sizes and shapes starting with the basic “A” and “F” frames. Flat walls are built by attaching frame to frame and adding extenders to enlarge to your needed size. Angles and radiuses allow for further customization of your design. All parts are connected with specialty clamps and unions that are at the heart of its’ tool-less assembly.

Once assembled, the frames are covered in light blocking, flame retardant solid or print fabrics that Velcro onto the frames for a perfect fit.
AV-Drop walls are capable of reaching over 20’ high in unlimited widths with ground supported jacks and can go even higher when flown.
AV-Drop can pack down to a pallet or fit into a road case, reducing it to a very small footprint both for shipping and storage. It can be moved at site or in the warehouse via pallet jacks or frame carts.

Big things really do come in small packages! Our single largest component is our 5’h x 4’w “A” Frame. All of our other components scale down from there, including our 5’h x1’w “F” Frames and extensions. You can store and transport 2x the amount of AV-Drop materials vs traditional scenic elements utilizing half the amount of space. Save Time! Save Money! Save Space!
