As leaders in the pipe and drape rental, we determined early on in our business that laundry service is an important pillar of support that we want to provide to our customers. For over 15 years we have perfected the process by investing in the commercial machines allowing us to easily launder over 2 tons of drape for our own rental business, as well as our customers who purchase drape from us and others.
Because we are a fully vertical business, we understand that the best quality drape needs cleaning and care. Along with the top machinery, our laundry specialists in all 3 locations pay careful attention to detail. Our team is composed of trained professionals who, unlike many of us, love laundry!

Spot Cleaning
Our talented spotters have the experience needed to handle pre-indicated spots and will be sure to discuss the expectation of removal with you prior to cleaning the item so that you are aware of the potential risks and results expected with spot cleaning. We examine the drapes that are sent to our facilities on flat tables that are over 20 feet long panel by panel. Our quality control in the laundry area is very strict and is overseen by our laundry supervisors who have years of experience in cleaning fabrics of all types.
Lint Removal
Lint removal is necessary step in our laundry services. Lint can hinder the cleaning process, therefore we’re sure to take the time to remove lint particles before the wash cycle. Using industrial Air Compressors, we carefully knock off tough to remove lint, dirt, and dust. Preserving your drape quality and assuring lint does not affect the power and performance of our laundry machines is an important step in our cleaning process.
Washing
Drape Kings has invested in Unimac washers, the world’s leading manufacturer of on-premise laundry equipment for over 60 years. Built for durability and maximum of performance we shopped the best quality machines to provide you with the quality laundry results and consistently deliver clean drapes. These 130 lb. Unimac Industrial Washers have programmable soap formulas offering specific cleaning solutions for the different fabrics and soil levels.
Drying
All our Speed Queen dryers are also programmable for the different types of fabric and drape sizes. They also have a reverse option which is helpful for wrinkle control and offers gentle care of fabrics. We closely monitor the heat of our dryers to assure your fabrics are temperature safe. We promptly remove the drape when cycle ends to be sure we reduce any wrinkles.
