Summary:

Drawing on a combination of CAD, Creative Suite and office productivity skills, this role will support Sales and Rentals by assisting with technical drawings for client, shop and site reference; review graphic design files for print production; creation of invoices and PO’s. The candidate will also assist with Digital Asset Management, prototype development and provide ad-hoc warehouse and trade show support as needed.

Responsibilities:

As a scenic production associate, you know that every day is different, which is why you need to know how to:

• Learn all aspects of AV Drop- our proprietary design tool for Trade Show, AV, and Exhibits
• Drafting and design AV Drop for retail or event applications facilitate the presentation of drawings, pricing, and detailed scope to sales and rental customers.
• Assist with invoicing, PO’s for purchase and other support documentation for A/R, A/P and billing
• Work with fabrication department to ensure that project deadlines and overall scope of jobs are met.
• Review and pre-flight graphics for client approval and print production
• Provide project management on assigned projects
• Develop on-going, productive, proactive relation with sales, rental and warehouse teams
• Effectively balance the needs of the team with clear, concise communication
• Other assigned duties

Your Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2-5 years’ experience in tradeshow, exhibit, event, theatrical, retail and/or experiential event design, production and/or management
• Must have excellent mathematical skills and Excel experience is a must.
• Prior experience trafficking, researching or project managing in a creative environment
• Advanced Office Suite user
• Intermediate AutoCAD user
• Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite user
• Strong general design skills and ability to provide general visualization and design support
• Bilingual in Spanish a huge plus, but not required

Competencies:

• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining detail.
• Exceptional organizational skills are required.
• Ability to establish priorities and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Troubleshooting is a must.
• Experience in sourcing non-standard and standard materials
• Preflight client provided graphics for production
• Create original graphics as/if required
• Source 3rd Party vendors as required

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items of up to 100lbs
• Show site support as required to support business and client needs
• Must be able to travel 5-15%
• Able to function in a warehouse environment
